I am Rachel Andrea Pirtle, 17 years old and a Junior at John L. Chapin High School in El Paso, TX. My dad played sports throughout his high school years and he instilled the love of sports in me. I started playing basketball at the age of 6 years old and continued through my freshman year in high school.

I was introduced to volleyball in seventh grade and just fell in love with the sport. I have continued to play volleyball in school and club. I consider myself a leader both on court and off the court. During the games, I like to step up to the challenge and encourage others to do the same.

Besides sports, I like to keep up with academics knowing that education opens a lot of doors. My goal in life is to work as an agent with the Federal Bureau of Investigations. I would like to pursue a degree in Criminal Justice and use these skills for the betterment of the community. Besides keeping up with school and sports, I enjoy Sunday school at Vineyard El Paso. I am in charge of working with the children and teaching them about good principles and how to apply them in life.

Thank you for taking the time to read my profile.
