ABOUT BRYCE JOHNSON:

From Coach Damion Easley:

"I can rely on Bryce to give me 6 solid innings every time I put him on the mound. He's got great command of all three of his pitches, plus he has a well-developed change-up. His biggest tool for college coaches is the fact that he pitches left-handed"

From Bryce:

On the field I take how I play the game very seriousl. I love the game with all my heart. I always play hard and I am very competitive. I never lack motivation or determination. If one of my teammates is not working hard or has a negative attitude I am not afraid to tell him something. I want to win and if you're only there for yourself I have no respect for that kind of attitude. Some people don't like me because I am honest but there is always going to be someone who does not like you for one reason or another. I value the opinions of those who mean the most to me. I try and make the game as simple as possible for myself. I have matured greatly over the years and now I relax and play the game how it should be played. I have learned that at some point everyone struggles but its how you handle the adversity that makes you who you are. Off the field, I am just a regular high school kid. I surround myself with amazing people, that love the game of baseball like I do and want to work just as hard as me to get better. I know what I need to do to get better in the class and on the field. I remind myself daily of my goals and it motivates me in the classroom and on the field.
